Modern hotel located in a residential area very close to local restaurants and travels further afield as well as town centre. A lot of options for breakfast in the restaurant. Nice building and rooms with fabulous well appointed kitchen which even included a mini dishwasher. Great and beautiful location just a short stroll away from Nelson Provincial Museum.

The location was absolutely perfect, for example, Trafalgar Park was a 10-15 minute walking distance from the hotel. The staff team was very very helpful at any time.

Truly enjoyed our well-organised and high standard rooms in this place.
It had stunning location, short walk to the centre of town, art gallery, museum and other attractions, and supermarket, travels further afield and the center. Booked a room with nice views of the bay and hills off to the side. Had a perfect stay for two nights & would happily go back again...

I had a wonderful stay at the Sails Nelson Motel. The hosts were incredibly welcoming and went above and beyond to ensure my comfort and satisfaction. The room itself was beautifully decorated and equipped with all the necessary amenities. The location was perfect, with just a short walk to the city center. The on-site laundry facilities were a great convenience. Despite some minor drawbacks, such as the small balcony and occasional traffic noise, I thoroughly enjoyed my time at the Sails Nelson Motel. I highly recommend this hotel for anyone visiting Nelson.

Reasonably large room with most comfortable beds and amazing facilities, as for instance, the staff was very welcoming, whenever I needed help. Restaurant was perfect for breakfast. The hotel was in a central setting in the south island.

We had an amazing Easter weekend getaway in a luxurious hotel! The first thing we noticed was the complimentary bottles of milk and fancy toiletries! We particularly enjoyed the convenience of the location- very close to the shops and restaurants. the bedding was so comfortable and of high quality, making our sleeping experience really great. the hotel exudes sophistication that will definitely make anyone feel pampered.
Our only issue was that the complementary breakfasts need some improvement. Perhaps they can add some variety to the offer.
